Cardabilities # 70 - I AM LUCKY - greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello everyone,  today is my last post for Cardabilites with sketch # 70.  I was serving on the team for 2 consecutive terms and sadly, my time as DT member has ended.  I want to thank Karan Gerber for having me, it was a great DT experience, and also want to wish her the best always... her sketches are unique and wonderful to work with and even though I am not going to be on the DT, I will be using her sketches.   Please visit Cardabilites and check out the great projects made by the rest of the DT.  Talent overflows the blog every day with DT samples and participants... you must not miss it.
And now, to my card.  I cut all the papers with my Silhouette, which has become my must precious tool.  Colored the SKdigis images with Copic markers, and did the fussy cutting for all those clovers.  Embossed the paper with my Cuttlebug and embossing folder Moroccan Screen, added some velvet ribbon and pop dots.  Hope you like my card.

digital paper set

Another week has gone by and I have this cute card for Sketchy Friday # 6... the sketch is actually for a horizontal card, but I flipped it to fit my image.  I think still looks great, and I love the colors.  This image is from my new release of St Patrick's themed digital images.  For this card I used the Silhouette to cut all the papers, colored the image with Copic markers, added some buttons and silky ribbon to match the card.  The green ribbon was very light, but I colored it with the same marker I used to color the digi.  Perfect match ha?  I love it and I hope you do too.  Come on and join us this week at Sketchy Friday... we will wait for you there, cause you have to see the wonderful cards made by SKdigis/Sketchy Friday designers... they really rock the sketch!

Sentimental Sundays # 140 - WELCOME BABY GIRL - greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello again... today with a new card I made for Sentimental Sundays.   The theme we have this week is "Celebrating the New" and I immediately thought about this little cute digital image available in my SKdigis shop.   To make this card I used Basic Grey papers, I uploaded the image to my Silhouette cameo and trace it and then cut it... YEAP! I made it a die cut, the face and paw I cut in white and color it with Tim Holtz distress ink using a sponge dauber.  The nose is pearl from Kaiser.  The sentiment is also from SKdigis Baby Girl Set of 8 sentiments only for $1. What a deal!... But let me tell you the best one... do you see the embossed background? ... I did it myself and will be posting a tutorial for Silhouette users as soon as I can figure out how to make a video...lol...promise.  Ok here is my little card and I hope you like it.

All That Stickles # 1 - SPARKLY AND BRIGHT - greeting card made with SKdigis

Happy Saturday everyone!  I am very excited today showing off my first card made as a design team member for "ALL THAT STICKLES" the new weekly linking blog.  We will be posting new projects every Saturday, using the assigned Stickles color.  We will also have tips and tricks on how and where to use Stickles and make your creations sparkle even more...  So come on join us, meet the other designers and our awesome bunch of sponsors (including me) YAY!

For my card I used Bazill and Basic Grey cardstock, Cuttlebug and D'vine swirls embossing folder, the bracket punch is from Fiskars, the digital stamp is SKdigis-Happy Flower and I colored it with Copic markers.  When it dried out, I started adding the stickles very carefully, trying my best not to get OFF the line, and not to much over the black line either, that way, the petals can still be seen separate and not just a blur, same thing in the vine and leaves.  Now, for the white background, I put a big drop of Stickles in a piece of paper and with my finger, I started rubbing the paper randomly, just to give a little shine and sky look... I really like the results and the great thing is that it washes off with water and soap very easily.  and with all that being said... here is my card and I hope you like it...

The color stickles I used on this card are: Rose, Lime Green and Baby Blue.

shown on the card.  "May your birthday be sparkly and bright"

Sketchy Friday # 5 - I LOVE YOU THIS MUCH - greeting card

For this card I used some scraps from previously made Valentine cards, embossed the white cardstock with my Cuttlebug and "Love Language" embossing folder, Sakura white gel, added some Kaiser pearls, the little red heart on the tag is a brad from Doodlebug, color the SKdigis digital stamp with Copic markers, added some stitching, pop dots, the sentiment and voila! here it is and I hope you like it...The link to the digi is posted under the card picture.
