HAPPY BIRTHDAY - Greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello my crafty friends... today I have a card to show you, I made it to showcase one of my latest digis, ant to play along in some challenges...  To make this card I re-sized the image to 200 pixels on the bigger side using Photoshop Elements, and printed it twice, colored it with Copic markers, then I fuzzy cut two of the flowers, layered them with pop dots and added Stickles to make it shine.   I am very happy with the results, even though I must keep practicing Hope you like it... :)

THANKS - greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello there!... wow, I can't believe is already Thursday, I have this image colored since last Friday, and only today I was able to put it together.  We had family visiting and although shopping was not in our list, we did some and some, I needed it anyway, my closet is kinda empty.
But without further ado, here is my card... I used the sketch from Retro Sketches this time, and one of my latest images, colored it with Copic markers, the punch I used is Martha Stewart (one of my favorites) and the embossing folder is a new one I got at Michaels about a week ago.  The sentiment is also cutted with cuttlebug and it is from one of their alpha die cuts.  I did some machine stitching (not so perfect UGG!) but I hope you like it anyway... :)

BELIEVE - Greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello everyone!  hope your weekend was as good as mine, we went to the South Beach for father's day and had a wonderful time.  Happily, I have a special post to share with you today.  Chaitali Narla, from Cuts, Crops & Creativity invited me to join her Iron Craft post.  She is a wonderful crafter and even though I did not know her before, I have deligted myself visiting her blog and checking out previous posts that are full of beauty and information.  You must go check it out.

We will be showing you both our creations using SKdigis - Gus the Worm Graduation, one of my latest digital printable stamps, and one of my latest sketches.  For my card I used Basic Grey papers from Life of the Party 6" paper pad.  Cutted all the papers using my Silhouette, (love how easy it is) and added some zig zag machine stitching for detail.  I resize the printable stamp using PE10, and colored it with Copic markers, AtYou Spika black marker, Sakura White gel pen and a touch of liquid glass for the eyes.  I found the piece of ribbon in my drawer of left overs, and the little "believe" metal sign I had for ages... so, things I thought I was never going to have the chance to use, fimally found a place in this little

So without further ado, here is my card:

and here is the sketch we used for inspiration:

Now, for many years, some of you have asked how I do my stitching so straight, well, I just follow the path and keep it as straight as I possibly can.  To have a good start, the paper must be lined up just like the picture.  Next time I sticth something, I will try my best to record it, so you can see me in action... {wink}

And lastly, hope you enjoyed visiting my blog.  Please make sure you connect with me somehow (all buttons for links are in my sidebar), so you do not miss any of my updates and If you are a new follower, I can link back with you.
Now go visit Chaitali's blog for a change to win the SKdigis showcased in my card (Gus the Worm Grad and Book Pile)...  Have a wondeful week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! - greeting card made with SKdigis

Hey there! long time ha? Many of you know by now that I moved from Blogger to TypePad, and even though the move was smooth, I had to do a bunch of stuff for my sidebars, and I still have to organize a bunch of stuff in my store, DT blog, and a DT call will be posted pretty soon to add new members to the team which is on vacation until school starts again, so we all enjoy summer.
For now, I want to show you with a little cute card I made this morning using the sketch from Seize the Birthday (love their sketches) and used one of my newest printable stamps. I colored it with Copic markers, and added some Stickles to give them some sparkle.   The papers are Basic Grey from 6" Kioshi paper pad and I cutted them with my Silhouette and added some doodling and rhinestones to embellish it.
