Cardabilities Sketch # 62 - HEY PUMPKIN - greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello everyone! Hope all of you in the storm path are safe.  We where lucky, just came back from Bethesda, Maryland last Tuesday, and watching the news, the area has been pounded with rain and snow.  It is cold here this morning, in the low 60's which is cold for us here in the South tip of Florida.

OK! now on to my card... I made it to showcase Cardability Sketch # 62... I can't stop saying how much I love Karan sketches, they are fun and easy to work with.  For this one I used my Silhouette Cameo to color print and cut the images and sentiment...that I first design in Illustrator.  Hope you like it.

I am also entering this card in the following challenge:

What I use to make this card:
Papers from Georgia Pacific Cardstock, Becket Radiance.

Versa Magic Chalk Ink.

Sentiment and Pumpkins - SKdigis

The origins of this award is unclear, but is believed to have originated by a German blogger. This award was designed to be a blog award in the pay it forward fashion to share your dearest and most beloved blogs that have less than 200 followers.

RULES FOR ACCEPTANCE

Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog. Post the award onto your blog. Give the award to five bloggers who you appreciate that have less than 200 followers. Leave a comment on their blog letting them know that you have given them this awesome award!

PAY IT FORWARD
Now I get to give out 5 nominations, which is very hard....the blogs I love are way more than that..... but since I can select only 5, I will pass on the Liebster Award on to these ones with less than 200 followers.

FOREVER FAMILY LOVE greeting card made with SKdigis

I can't believe is already Sunday and the weekend past so fast.  Last night we went to the Horror Fair here in my neck of the woods and we had a blast.  "The House" was super scary and we where holding on to each other like ticks.  You should have seen Steven's face (my 12 year old)... he finally realize he is not as brave as he thinks he is, but hubby did a great job protecting us like always.  Then we went in the roller coaster, and It was worse than "The House"... it was so old and rusty, that made me thought of Final Destination, with the rails collapsing and flying out... lol.  The best part is that I behave and did not eat any of that yummy fair food... hard to resist those elephant ears, but I did!
OK! on to my card.  Isn't the mushroom family the cutest? I hope you like it.

What I use to make this card:
Bazzill Black and Kraft
Beckett Radiance cardstock.

Medium: Copic Markers
Cuttlebug Love Languaje embossing folder.

I MISS YOU greeting card made with SKdigis

Hello everyone!  I have been on a roll here making a card every day as planned... YAY! I even have some scheduled for upcoming days, and I am working on a new Silhouette Lesson.  Yesterday I checked some challenges to play at and found one I liked a lot, so I made a card using my sailboat digi, upload it to Silhouette CAMEO, color it and print it, after that, I use one of my nestabilities to cut it out with the Cuttlebug.  I also embossed the paper with D'vine Swirls, some bright ribbon, pop dots and finally added the round sentiment.

HOPE FOR THE CURE greeting card made with SKdigis for Cancer awareness month

I think this is going to be my last card for Breast Cancer Awareness Month... I haven't had anyone in my family nor close friends with breast cancer, at least that I know of, but I am a cervical cancer survivor and I know what saved my life was having a year check up religiously since I am 15 years old.  My cervical cancer was in stage 1A when discovered thru a pap smear in my regular check up on January of 2010. I had surgery in May of the same year followed by chemo and radiation as a preventive measure due to my age.   I was on a 3 month check up schedule for the first year, then down to 6 month check up for the next 3 years.  Thankfully, the last one done in September showed no signs of cancer... breast cancer isn't different.  Go have your yearly routine check up done... It can be a life saver...
Now to my card... this one is made with every element and papers from my HOPE kit available in SKdigis Store.  I saw a card made by my DT member Barb and she posted the link for the tutorial HERE.  After I saw the tutorial I  did it all by myself starting with the Illustrator drawing, upload it as .png in Silhouette, trace it and cut my already printed digi papers.  Colored the image with the silhouette, some tape, pop dots, ribbon, rhinestones and voila!...here it is and hope you like it...

I'M MELTING FOR YOU - greeting card made with SKdigis

I made this card for SKdigis challenge # 4 and give you a boost of inspiration.  I used SKdigis Melting Monster printed twice. One in Bo-Bunny cardstock and the other one in white cardstock, cut around it with scissors, and then cut out the eyes and mouth and colored them with Copic.  I embossed the melting monster with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls, added an Action Wobble and voila... OH OK! I used also the droopy goo punch from Martha Stewart and some pop dots.  The back cardstock is from Bazzill and an old Recollections paper pad.  The last touch where the Doodlebug Rhinestones and the liquid glass to give it that wet look... Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon....:)
